Hello! We are Camilla and Dallas Perry.

We’re veterans—just like you—and we’ve been married for nearly 25 years. Between us, we’ve lived through the realities of military service, transition, reinvention, and the lifelong impact that service has on how we relate to the world and to each other.

One thing we’ve learned along the way is this: what makes a great Soldier or Marine doesn’t always translate seamlessly into what makes a great spouse, friend, parent, or coworker. And most of our veteran friends are single.

Military service shapes us in powerful ways—discipline, loyalty, resilience, and humor under pressure—but it also gives us experiences and perspectives that aren’t always easily understood by those who haven’t served. We carry stories, habits, and ways of seeing the world that come from service—and sometimes even the acronyms become second nature.

Dallas and I discovered that when you understand a veteran through the lens of experience, connection deepens—and relationships last.
